Alpiron Suite - Server Edition

Servers

Integrating industry standard Wake-On-LAN technology, Alpiron Suite is able to shut-down or wake-up any device running on any type of platform or operating system across a given network. Alpiron Suite is not restricted to Local Area Network traffic but works across IP-networks and through firewalls.

Solution Delivery

The non-intrusive Alpiron Suite software installs as a Windows Service (default option) directly onto your existing servers for fast implementation with minimal impact to your hardware.

All aspects of Alpiron Suite are optimized to have a low impact on your servers; this includes low memory-footprint as well as minimal CPU usage. Alpiron Suite works with your existing load-balancer in order to minimize energy usage. Or if you prefer, Alpiron Suite may alternately be installed on a separate, dedicated device on your network.

Alpiron Suite is a non-intrusive service with does not interfere with other users or programs operating on the same device. As a long-running executable application, Alpiron Suite automatically loads when the device on which it is installed boots - no direct administrator intervention is required.

Patent Pending “Keep-Free-Capacity” Algorithm
Alpiron Suite’s patent-pending “Keep-Free-Capacity” algorithm dynamically maintains available capacity based on a pre-defined high and low thresholds in an administrator-defined group of servers. Utilization monitoring drives automatic load shifting and load shedding decisions to guarantee Service Level Agreements.

Extensible Core Architecture

The core architecture flexibility built into Alpiron Suite extends across varied applications, hardware, operating systems and architectures.  Alpiron Suite’s holistic power management system equips administrators with all the tools you need – with none of the expensive extra features or overhead that you do not – to reduce power consumption in your servers/workstations and lower your IT energy costs.
