Alpiron Agent
Communicates with Alpiron Controller
Alpiron Agent is a small program running on each Alpiron Suite controlled device.
How it works
Alpiron Agent (apagent.exe) is a small program running on each device that is to be controlled by Alpiron Suite. Alpiron Agent runs as a Windows Service (default option), boots automatically along with its host device and runs in the background without user interface.
What is does
Alpiron Agent communicates continually with the Alpiron Controller, sending status and counter information to Alpiron Controller and executes commands sent to it from the Alpiron Controller. The Alpiron Agent also functions as a component of the patent-pending Alpiron Reflector technology for crossing diverse sub-networks in sites with multiple environments.
Installation
Alpiron Agents easily installs on all designated devices as a standard Windows installer file (msi); uninstalling Alpiron Controller is simply performed from the Add/Remove programs in Windows Control Panel. Alpiron Agents can be installed by any available remote installation service for mass deployment.
